AIRL events are a big undertaking - hats off to every convention and expo out there for what they do! Hentai-Expo is still young and still being developed into the best event it can be, and so for the time being we're focused on doing just that for our live stream program. However, our organizers are all very interested in IRL events - so who knows what the future may hold?

AHentai-Expo started as a gaming event, but like you we're interested in many other parts of the hentai world! Our event organizers are deeply interested in adding more content - and more kinds of content - to the event over time, and strive to bring our viewers the best that the hentai world has to offer.

AThe best way to reach us is to join us on Discord and ping the mods, or to send us a DM over on Twitter. We don't currently take event inquiries by email, phone, or mail.

AIf you're a publisher or developer, we encourage you to apply to exhibit in the next Hentai-Expo when applications open! If you're press, a game reviewer, blogger, podcaster, or influencer and you publish content related to the world of NSFW gaming, we'd love to hear from you. ABecause we host Hentai-Expo on our own servers located in Japan, there is very little in the way of banned content. Here is a brief list of content that isn't accepted into the event for legal or policy reasons (subject to change).

Banned content:

• Content to be exhibited that is uncensored
  *games may be uncensored as long as all material submitted for use in Hentai-Expo is censored in accordance with Japanese law
• Games created based on, or parodying, someone else's intellectual property (parody games, etc.)
• Games created with AI-generated art, video, music, voices, or texts
  *games with machine translation are accepted

We also have a few restricted categories. Restricted content is content that generally cannot be promoted on Hentai-Expo social media, and may not be allowed into the event depending on the severity of depictions.

Restricted content

• Sexual content involving obviously underage characters
• Extreme violence or gore, whether sexual or not
• Beastiality
  *generally does not apply in the case of humanoid furries

Basically, if your game contains the above, please present it in a way that can be viewed by vanilla level fans or it will not be featured.

All final decisions are at the discretion of DLsite staff.

AWe cannot advise or provide resources in regards to uncensored content. Additionally, we do not permit discussions of this nature in our event's community spaces (SNS, etc.)

ANope! Hentai-Expo is open to all lewd game creators - but we'd love to have you join us on DLsite to reach an even wider audience! DLsite has a large English-speaking customer base, and so your games do not need to be available in any specific langauge in order to register! AWhile we appreciate your enthusiasm, due to the scale of the event we are not currently accepting giveaway prizes or distribution items from participants.

AYes. As DLsite is a Japanese company operating in Japan, everything on our website must comply with local laws. But don't worry - censorship isn't a dealbreaker for our 9 million existing customers, making DLsite a great place to get your game out into new markets!

AIt is never too early to start promoting your works on DLsite. Whatever state your game is in, you can list it on DLsite and start to build a following.

AOf course! We welcome NSFW of all kinds! While most of our audience is male, our audience also has an extremely diverse taste for hentai gaming! We've featured BL games in the past, and have even seen interest for them from our viewers.
However, we acknowledge that the current version of Hentai-Expo might not be the best fit for BL, otome, or similar games, and so that brings us to...

ABL and otome programming blocks - or even an entirely separate streaming event for these and similar adult gaming tastes - are actively under consideration for future events. If you're interested in getting involved in one of these blocks or a separate event dedicated to content that isn't what Hentai-Expo is already offering, we would love to hear from you! AWhile we accept programming from publishers or developers that are not necessarily associated with DLsite, at the end of the day Hentai-Expo is run by DLsite. We do not currently accept solicitations for advertising at Hentai-Expo, including but not limited to in the live stream, on the website, or on our official social media accounts.

AHentai-Expo is an entirely free event; we do not offer paid upgrades or packages of any kind. We may offer paid perks in the future, but this is not something we're actively working on adding to the event right now.

Please note that because hosts and guests are selected as a way to draw more viewers to Hentai-Expo, all candidates are carefully considered based on fan following as well as public speaking skill and experience. Hosts who can speak Japanese and can appear live in person from Tokyo are preferred.
